Observing, volunteering, and shadowing is a great way to learn about pediatric occupational therapy, the tools, techniques, and the private clinic setting.
Clinical observation (also known as shadowing) is not the same thing as volunteering at the clinic and other hands-on experience. Clinical observation is an observation of an occupational therapist in a clinical setting.
Volunteering is providing hands-on help in the private clinic setting with the guidance and supervision of an occupational therapist.
We currently have available hours for our Saturday group classes starting on April 13th, 2019.
If you’re an Occupational Therapy student or a COTA student and would like to shadow or volunteer at our clinic, please contact us with your information.
