Kindergarten Readiness Group

Therapeutic Preparation for the Transition to School

Registration for Summer 2026 is now open

Our kindergarten readiness group helps your child build the foundational skills they need to feel confident and capable as they start school. Led by licensed occupational therapists, this weekly program uses play-based activities and sensorimotor exploration to support early learners in a supportive, small-group environment.

What Your Child Will Build

Motor Skills & Handwriting

We use the Handwriting Without Tears program to develop fine motor coordination, pencil grasp, and letter formation in a way that feels like play.

Self-Regulation

Children learn to identify their feelings and practice sensory-based tools to help them stay regulated and focused during classroom routines.

Social Connection

We focus on social play, including taking turns, following group directions, and navigating peer interactions with empathy and flexibility.

Executive Functioning

Through structured activities, we help children build the organizational skills needed to manage transitions and follow multi-step instructions independently.

Visual Motor Integration

Activities are designed to improve how the eyes and hands work together, which is essential for drawing, cutting, and future reading.

Confidence & Independence

By practicing school-like routines in a therapeutic setting, children build the confidence to try new things and navigate the school day with ease.
