Our Game Changers Social Group is designed for children aged 8-12 years old who show an interest in playing board games and may benefit from support with:

  • Social Participation
  • Emotional Regulation
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Following a Group Plan
  • And Flexibility in Thinking

This small-group setting is facilitated by a doctorate-level pediatric occupational therapist trained in DIRFloortime. The approach will target the following Functional Emotional Developmental Capacities through playing board games and sensory motor activities:

  • Self-Regulation
  • Engaging & Relating
  • Purposeful Two-Way Communication
  • Complex Communication & Shared Problem Solving

Each week, children will engage in structured game play paired with opportunities for movement and sensory input. Through these activities, they will practice essential life skills such as building peer relationships, planning, turn-taking, perspective-taking, and handling both winning and losing gracefully.

Days & Times:

  • Fridays 4:00pm – 5:30pm (1.5 hours per week)
  • Winter Session (sold out): 1/9/2026, 1/16/2026, 1/23/2026, 1/30/2026, 2/6/2026, 2/13/2026, 2/27/2026, 3/6/2026, 3/13/2026, 3/27/2026
Winter 2026 Session: January 9th, 2026 - March 27th, 2026

Additional Information

  • You must commit to the full session.
  • There are no refunds for missed sessions for sickness, vacation, etc.
  • Upon registration, new clients will be invited for a tour and therapist screening to assess your child’s individual needs and your goals before starting the program.
  • A minimum of 3 kids are required to open the group. 

Cancellations:
Cancellations occurring 7 or more days before group start date will be refunded 90%.
Cancellations occurring less than 7 days before group start date will not be refunded.

Insurance Information:
We do not bill insurance companies directly for services provided. You will be provided with a superbill which you are encouraged to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. We’ll be happy to guide you on how to submit our superbills to your health insurance carrier.

Tumble N’ Dots Pediatric Therapy is a licensed outpatient therapy clinic. Our programs are designed and delivered by licensed occupational therapists (OTs) and certified occupational therapy assistants (COTAs) under OT supervision.
All services provided are therapeutic in nature, guided by individualized treatment plans, and documented according to professional healthcare standards.
