Social Butterflies is our foundational occupational therapy based social emotional group, designed to build the essential skills children need before advancing into our Social Superheroes program. Social emotional learning begins with core abilities such as social connection, emotional regulation, and flexible thinking. Skills that provide the groundwork for success in more advanced social learning. Social Butterflies uses a holistic, play based approach within a supportive peer group setting in our sensory gym environment. Each week, children engage in structured activities centered on evidence based curriculum, including Social Thinking and Zones of Regulation.
Details
Days: Every Monday and Wednesday from 2:00pm – 3:30pm (3 hours per week).
Things to Know:
- You must commit to the full program.
- There are no refunds for missed sessions for sickness, vacation, etc.
Cancellations:
If you cancel 7 or more days before the group start date, you will receive a 90% refund.
Cancellations occurring less than 7 days before group start date will not be refunded.
New Clients:
Upon registration, you will be invited for a 30 minute tour and therapist screening to assess your child’s individual needs and your goals before starting the program.
Insurance Information:
We do not bill insurance companies directly for services provided. You will be provided with a superbill which you may choose to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
