UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation

The mission of UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation is to provide medical grants to enhance the quality of life of children across the United States. Through these grants, kids can get the care they need. Up to $10,000 for Speech and Occupational therapy.

Autism Care Today

Since 2005, Autism Care Today has provided over $1.85 million in grants to 1,562+ families, covering therapies, assistive technologies, safety equipment, and more. Their Quarterly Assistance Program directly pays service providers to support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation

ASDF helps families afford social skills, equine, and aquatic therapy camps for children with autism by providing partial and full scholarships. These camps foster peer interaction and personal growth, with many children supported through ASDF’s Summer Scholarship Program last year.

CARE Family Grant Program - CARE Foundation

The CARE Grant Program supports families with children diagnosed with autism by funding therapy, evaluations, medication, summer camps, and more. Grants are paid directly to providers and are available year-round for U.S. households earning under $75,000 annually, with proof of diagnosis and income required.

MyGOAL Autism Grant Program

MyGOAL Autism Grant is a program to support families caring for individuals with Autism. The MyGOAL Autism Grant is offered once a year, applications are available at the beginning of the year and decisions are rendered in mid-July.

National Autism Association (NAA)

NAA’s Give A Voice program helps nonspeaking individuals with autism communicate effectively, reducing risks of harm. It now includes access to S2C (Spelling 2 Communicate) and RPM (Rapid Prompting Method) practitioners, alongside its iPad AAC program.

Oracle Health Foundation

Oracle Health Foundation offers pediatric grants for clinical needs, equipment, travel, lodging, and vehicle modifications. Eligible children must be under 18 (or up to 21 with a child-like mental state), under a physician’s care, and uninsured for the requested expenses. Families can apply once a year, up to three times per child.

Small Steps in Speech

Grants are available for U.S. citizens aged 3 to 22 with application deadlines on February 1, May 1, August 1, and November 1. Eligibility includes:

  • Family income under $125,000.
  • Parent or legal guardian approval if submitted by someone else.
  • Covers future therapies, materials, or workshops (no reimbursements for past expenses).

Past grant recipients are ineligible for additional grants.

The Orange Effect Foundation

The Orange Effect Foundation funds speech therapy and communication technology for children and young adults up to age 21. Insurance must be exhausted, and income over $100,000 requires proof of need.

Varghese Summersett PLLC Annual Scholarships

This annual scholarship supports autistic students in the U.S., helping with educational or recreational needs like camps, tutoring, or tools for growth. Applicants must be students diagnosed with autism and U.S. residents.

Apraxia-Kids

Each year, Apraxia Kids provides speech tablets to children with apraxia in the U.S. and Canada for speech practice or as speech-generating devices. Over 700 tablets have been awarded since the program began.
