Questions parents ask before the consult

Is the consult free?

Yes. The phone consult is free. It is a chance to share your concerns, ask questions, and decide whether we’re the right fit for your child and family.

How do I get started?

Start with a free phone consult or a clinic tour. If your child does not have a valid evaluation from the last 10 months, we will start with one. If you already have one that is less than 10 months old, send it to us and we will work from it.

Can I visit the clinic instead?

Yes. Seeing the clinic in person gives you a better sense of our space, our team, and what makes us different. Book a free clinic tour and bring your questions.

What age children do you work with?

Birth through age 12.

Do I need a referral from my pediatrician?

No referral is needed to get started. Some insurance plans require one for reimbursement, so it is worth checking with your carrier.

Do you take insurance?

No. We are not part of any insurance network, and we do not bill the insurance company directly. We provide detailed superbills that include all the insurance codes needed to seek reimbursement from your insurance carrier as an out-of-network provider. Our services are covered under a flexible spending account. Read the out-of-network reimbursement guide

How long is a therapy session?

Sessions are typically 50 minutes. Every child is different, but most children come once a week.
