About Social Explorers
Social Explorers is built around a simple idea: successful teamwork does not require everyone to think, communicate, or participate in the same way. Through hands-on challenges, students discover how a group works best when each person contributes their strengths.
The child-development-informed curriculum considers what influences participation, including attention, sensory preferences, emotional awareness, planning, and communication style, and helps students communicate needs and develop strategies that help the whole group work together.
Educational focus: Communication, teamwork, executive functioning, planning, collaborative problem-solving, leadership, and perspective-taking.Social-emotional learning, self-awareness, communication, teamwork, executive functioning, planning, self-advocacy, perspective-taking, collaborative problem-solving, leadership, and flexible thinking.

Educational Enrichment Program Notice
Tumble ’N Dots Educational Enrichment Programs are supplemental group learning programs, separate from our clinical occupational therapy services. They do not include diagnosis, determination of medical necessity, individualized occupational therapy evaluation or plans of care, clinical treatment goals, healthcare progress notes, insurance billing, or superbills.
Within group instruction, instructors may use visual supports, modeling, activity modifications, and other strategies to improve access to the curriculum. These are educational supports within the group program, not individualized occupational therapy treatment. If a student may benefit from clinical occupational therapy, those services are offered separately and require a separate clinical intake.
